Sun Kissed

One of my favorite spots on the coast of Maine. I spent many a summer afternoon there with my mother years ago long before I began painting.  I felt very connected to her as I spent the day on Mom's favorite rocks. I painted in the morning looking south; then came back in the evening for the rim lighting I was hoping to find looking west.  The sky cooperated.  A great day!
